Welcome to our course on working with clients dealing with dissociation. This course is designed for therapists who want to improve their skills in identifying and working with dissociation through an understanding of nervous system states.
Throughout this course, you will learn how to track the nervous system states of your clients and work with resistance to identify the felt sense of "NO." You will also develop the skills necessary to help your clients set boundaries and make appropriate appraisals of situations.
The main learning objectives of this course are as follows:
Learn how to identify and work with dissociation through understanding and tracking nervous system states.
Learn to work with resistance to identify the felt sense of NO and be able to recognize when to slow down or pause processing.
Develop therapeutic skills to help clients set boundaries and make appropriate appraisals of situations.
Learn a 6 step approach to treating trauma and dissociation.
