This 4-day intensive training is led by Rachel Hatfield, M.S., LPC-S, LMFT-S, SEP, RPT-S, and Melanie Taylor, M.S., LPC-S, two accomplished mental health professionals with extensive expertise in trauma-informed care, somatic psychotherapy, and experiential therapeutic approaches. Designed for licensed mental health professionals, this training provides a comprehensive exploration of somatic psychotherapy and Parts Work, offering practical tools to integrate these modalities into clinical practice.
Rachel Hatfield specializes in somatic and relational therapy with over a decade of experience. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor (LMFT-S), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP)TM, and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S)TM, Rachel has a deep understanding of how the nervous system, emotional regulation, and relational dynamics contribute to trauma recovery and growth. Her work emphasizes fostering self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful connection in clients.
Melanie Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), certified EMDR therapist, and hypnotherapist with expertise in trauma recovery and integrative therapeutic techniques. Melanie provides compassionate care and mentorship to therapists. She specializes in EMDR, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, and experiential therapies, including Parts Work, Sandtray Therapy, and creative modalities. Melanie’s teaching combines hands-on learning with ethical and professional guidance to enhance clinical practice.

Practice pairing somatic awareness exercises with Parts Work for integration and healing.

Melanie Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a deep commitment to trauma-informed care and innovative therapeutic approaches. She specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, focusing on helping clients recover from trauma, navigate life transitions, and foster personal growth. Her clinical expertise includes working with individuals addressing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and challenges related to self-esteem and life balance.
Melanie is the co-owner of the Center for Emotional Enlightenment, a training organization dedicated to providing high-quality continuing education for mental health professionals. She is also the owner of Healing Tree Women's Counseling, a group practice devoted to supporting women through compassionate, personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Melanie’s passion extends beyond clinical practice to the education and mentorship of fellow therapists. She offers advanced training in therapeutic methods such as Parts Work, Art Therapy, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, and Sandtray Therapy.
